Telstra has confirmed it’s upgrading its networks across Wollongong.
The telco said one of its mobile base stations is getting a revamp to improve 4G and 5G networks
Works will kick off from 18 May 2026, running for about seven days, the telco advising there could be some service interruption right up to 26 May 2026, with the site needing to be switched off up to 10 hours on a number of days.
