Wollongong Police have begun an investigation, after an accident that occurred at the intersection of Springhill Road and Bridge Street, Coniston on Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Police say that at around 7.30pm, a female began to cross the road when the green walk sign lit up but was hit by a car that went through the red light, the vehicle didn’t stop and continued travelling along Springhill Road.
