Wollongong part of Transport for NSW’s ‘Sunflower Program’

Transport for NSW’s ‘Sunflower Program’ has kicked off, giving people with hidden disabilities such as autism, dementia, chronic pain, or anxiety, more confidence navigating the rail network.

Transport’s Clare Appleby said train travel can be challenging for many customers, including the estimated 138,000 people with a hiddendisability who use the state’s rail network each day, however help is available.

Wollongong is one of 20 stations on the intercity and regional train network, providing the ‘Sunflower Program’.
