Wollongong City Council has advised it’ll call for more info from the Government over the proposed offshore wind development area.
The zone extends from Wombarra to Kiama and begins at least 10 kilometres from the coast.
Council wants more details around the visual and environmental impacts on the coastline, and clarity on the expected benefits for the local community.
