Data from Wollongong City Council indicates population growth for the West Dapto area will grow by over 56,000 in the next 50 years.
As a result, Council has advised it continues it’s push to invest in vital infrastructure in the area, including the Karrara Bridge, which opened in 2020, this bridge was the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by Wollongong City Council.
Council said another project is the Northcliffe Drive extension to West Dapto Road, with Council currently investigating, designing, and refining this project, they’ll reveal more with the community once it’s ready.
