The University of Wollongong has released information regarding an incident that occurred on the weekend.
On Sunday, police were called to an incident at the University’s Wollongong campus and responded swiftly.
The matter was resolved peacefully and UOW want to reassure the community that there is no ongoing risk to the safety of our students, staff or visitors and the campus remains open and operating as normal today.
The University is assisting police with their enquiry and will continue to support our community, as the matter is the subject of an active NSW Police investigation it would be inappropriate for us to comment further at this time.
