UOW gets to work on Liverpool facility

The University of Wollongong is set to develop a new facility in the heart of Liverpool in Sydney.

UOW Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Max Lu, has joined representatives from developers and Liverpool City Council, at the sod-turning ceremony, to mark the start of the next stage of construction, at the landmark Liverpool Civic Place development.

The Vice-Chancellor said the move is about giving students in Southwest Sydney, access to world-class education where they live and work.
