A lucky escape for a truck driver after the rear of his vehicle collided with a Pacific National freight train carrying 900 tonnes of concrete dust at Picton.
The incident took place around 11:30am yesterday, near the intersection of Maldon Bridge Road and Picton Road.
Train services were interrupted for hours, but fortunately no one was injured.

Surprisingly the rear of the truck only suffered minor damage.
Transport officials are now investigating how the truck came to a standstill on the track.
