A grey hatchback police say was stolen from Cronulla on Tuesday has been involved in a pursuit in Warilla this morning.
The person behind the wheel in the chase is yet to be found, however law enforcement have seized the alleged car involved in the chase.
“About 9.20am today (Thursday 18 September 2025), officers attached to Southern Region Operational Support Group were patrolling Davidson Street, Warilla, when they located a grey hatchback.” a police spokesperson said.
“Checks revealed the vehicle was stolen from a home in Cronulla on Tuesday 16 September 2025.
When it failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued through Veronica Street, Warilla, where the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was then located abandoned.
Inquiries established the vehicle may have crashed into a number of other vehicles before it was found.
A crime scene was established, and police seized the vehicle to be forensically examined.
