Shellharbour City Council advises that it’s recent ‘soft plastics recycling event’ was a huge success.
The effort was supported by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organisation who managed the day, with support from volunteers from ‘Circular Plastics Illawarra’.
Estimates are that 500kg were collected in just four hours, all that plastic will be sent for processing at Taree.
