Shellharbour Council is advising residents, that changes to what you can drop in your FOGO bin are about to start.
Council advises that the NSW Environment Protection Authority, have said that cardboard, newspaper, paper towel, tissues, compostable packaging, and teabags, are on the NO list.
The NSW EPA has advised that they contain additives that can cause harm to our environment when composted.
