Shellharbour City Council, will host a special breakfast event for International Women’s Day on Wednesday, celebrating this year’s theme – ‘Embracing Equity’.
Council advises the event, will see young women and local school students, come together to listen to a panel of inspirational speakers, including Executive Director of the Illawarra Women’s Health Centre, Sally Stevenson, local published author Helena Fox, successful macramé business owner of ‘Mary Maker’ – Brydie Stewart, and local musician Kay Proudlove.
Shellharbour City Council CEO Mike Archer, said the event was a wonderful way to celebrate, and recognise International Women’s Day.
