NSW SES Wollongong and Dapto Unit volunteers, many of whom had spent the morning at a Clean Up Australia Day event on the escarpment, were called to the Royal National Park to support NSW Ambulance on Sunday afternoon.

Two bushwalkers reportedly sustained injuries at the Figure 8 Pools, but fortunately were able to be walked out with assistance from Ambulance Specialists and Fire and Rescue NSW.
