Regulation for e-bike share schemes includes Wollongong

Calls from Wollongong City Council for adequate funding and resources, following a statewide regulation of bike sharing schemes.

Transport for NSW is proposing a new regulatory framework, that’ll change how e-bike share schemes operate across the state.

While Council says it’s supportive of the move, a submission endorsed by Council in April, highlights concerns around public safety and the proposed funding model.
