UPDATE 7:35AM: The road is closed completely in both directions. Vehicle salvage and clean-up is expected to take some time.
Picton Road is closed in both directions at Cataract due to a multi vehicle crash about two kilometres from the M1 Princes Motorway.
The closure is in place between the M1, all the way up to Macarthur Drive at Wilton
Motorists should use an alternative route, allow extra travel time and follow the directions of emergency services on site.
