Sunday night will see another picket at Unanderra’s Bisalloy Steel, by the Wollongong Friends of Palestine group.
For the first time, the picketers will gather on Sunday night, the group said the action’s timed with Bisalloy’s usual furnace start-up for the week, with organisers saying delaying furnace operations will disrupt production of steel sold to Israel.
They’re calling on the company to end its involvement in supplying ‘military-grade protective plate’.
