A coalition of First Nations people and other members of the community, are beginning a walk of approximately 400 km today, walking between Port Kembla and Canberra.

The walk will pass through Nowra, Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Braidwood and nearby areas, delivering a message to Canberra from First Nations people across Australia.

It’s in protest against the federal government’s decision, to join the AUKUS military alliance, to build the nuclear powered submarines, and potentially base them at Port Kembla.
