As we head into a period of increased temperatures, the Rural Fire Service is calling on everyone in the Illawarra to prepare for the upcoming bush fire season.
This weekend is ‘Get Ready Weekend’, with all of us invited to meet our local NSW RFS crews, and to find out how we can prepare ourselves and our properties.
The NSW RFS says more than 590 community events will be held this weekend right across the state.
