We’re putting Rothery Street and Murray Road on notice – from next week there will be heavy asphalt resurfacing works on sections of these busy thoroughfares. The works are to repair sections of the lanes which are failing due to cracks and potholes.

“We know the condition of our local roads is something that gets close scrutiny from our local community who will report potholes and other issues to Council,’’ Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said.

From Monday 3 July until Tuesday 11 July, works will start from 7am and may continue until 6pm. There will be traffic control in place to help residents, buses, garbage trucks and emergency services safely use the road. The work will be staged to manage traffic and reduce the impact on residents and road users.
