New Coniston production facility begins construction

An advanced materials production centre has begun construction in Coniston, backed by $1.5 million under the Industry Growth Program.

Ground has now been broken on two new state of the art high technology warehouses which will sit alongside the existing Gravitas facility.

It will be home to breakthrough high-pressure processing and advanced materials production for use in extreme environments.

Isostatic pressing is a manufacturing process used to compact powdered materials into solid forms by applying pressure uniformly from all directions.

This technique is widely used in advance manufacturing industries to produce high-density, high-performance materials.
