Multiple arrests across the Illawarra in large scale drug operation

NSW Police have charged nine-people, after the dismantling of a large-scale drug syndicate, operating across the Illawarra.

Investigations began back in July 2025, multiple agencies were included – the Australia Federal Police, and Australian Border Force included, with 16-search warrants executed on Tuesday 23 June 2026, across the Lake Illawarra and South Coast regions.

Firearms, drugs and cash were seized, five men and four women were arrested.
