Dragons fans won’t see their newest recruit at Kogarah this weekend.
Luke Metcalf has been left out of the Warriors’ line-up, just days after committing to join the Red V from 2027.
He hasn’t been overlooked though, with coach Andrew Webster saying the halfback isn’t match fit after missing training during contract negotiations.

Metcalf was also given time away from the club to finalise the deal without distractions.
