A man has been refused bail in Wollongong Local Court charged over a crash on Springhill Road.
Police allege Brett Forster was drunk when he ran a red light, hit another car and fled the scene before being arrested.
Police said the call to emergency services came in at about 5pm Thursday, reports were that two vehicles had crashed, at the intersection of Springhill Road and Entry Road.

The 62-year-old driver of the other car was airlifted to St George Hospital in a serious condition.
32-year-old Forster will return to court next month.
