A pedestrian has died following a crash at Yallah.
About 10.40pm yesterday, Sunday 19 May 2024, emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, Yallah, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Lake Illawarra Police were told a car had crashed into a concrete barrier before the driver, a 29-year-old man exited his vehicle; he was then struck by another car and died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 54-year-old man, was not injured, he was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
