When it failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.

The vehicle stopped near the intersection of Shellharbour Road and Queen Street due to heavy traffic, where police attempted to remove the driver.

It is alleged the driver rammed into a police car and two other vehicles, before driving away.

There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The pursuit was terminated on Veronica Street due to safety concerns, before the vehicle was located abandoned on Woolworths Avenue, Warilla.
