The Illawarra Police District has farewelled one of its longest serving Officers.
Sergeant Jack Brown has given 43 years of service in the General Duties field.
The vast majority of his career has been spent serving the Illawarra community including stints in Wollongong, Port Kembla and Warilla.

His family were by his side for an official march out in Oak Flats yesterday.
