The theme is ‘Make a Splash for Safety’, and it’ll be an event held at Beaton Park Leisure Centre in Gwynneville today.
The lifejacket safety campaign from NSW Maritime, will run from about 12.30pm today, Tuesday 7 May, 2024, with organisers saying the event is an interactive way to learn about the importance of wearing a lifejacket.
Maritime are reminding Illawarra boaters, to ensure they have enough, and an appropriate type of lifejacket, for every person onboard the vessel.
