Lake Illawarra Police District are after the public’s assistance following an incident involving a collision with a Police vehicle on the 11th May 2023 at 2.08am.
Police observed a black 2010 Land Rover Freelander travelling Northbound at high-speed upon the Princes Highway Dunmore, Police attempted to catch up with the vehicle.
The vehicle has attempted to evade police taking the Shellharbour Road exit ramp where it has stopped at the roundabout and reversed into the front of the Police vehicle causing significant front-end damage.
The black Land Rover has continued east on Shellharbour Road taking the exit ramp to travel south upon the Princes Highway.
Police terminated the pursuit, and the vehicle was last seen travelling north on the M1 near Haywards Bay.
