Kiama Mayor Cameron McDonald has set the record straight regarding ‘State Significant Developments’ and the Kiama township.
Mayor McDonald said he does not support 14-storey buildings anywhere in Kiama, adding they’re far too high and completely out of character for the town.
He specifically mentions the Akuna Street development, and the Shoalhaven Street Precinct, saying Council has written to Minister Paul Scully to communicate the community’s concerns.
