Kiama Council has opened the wallet to fund local events and festivals.
They are a great way to showcase Kiama’s personality, build community pride and social connections, and are important drivers of tourism visitation and economic development, boosting businesses, creating jobs, and helping the local area to thrive.
Kiama is lucky to host a number of very successful events (of all shapes and sizes) that showcase the region’s passion for arts and culture, live music, sport, and food and wine.
Events that support the visitor economy are invited to apply for funding (financial and in-kind) via the Destination Events Funding Program.
The Destination Event Funding Round One online portal is now open for applications.
Applications close at 5pm Thursday 22 June 2023.
