Kiama Council advice on bird flu cases

Kiama Council advises that it’s aware of the recent developments with bird flu detected at Windang.

Residents are being reminded not to touch sick or dead birds or other wildlife, and to avoid all contact including keeping pets away.

Council recommends recording the location and, if safe to do so, take a photo, and reporting it to the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.
