The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting the winds will pick up today, and hit the hardest tomorrow for the Illawarra.
As a result the NSW SES is asking us all to make preparations ahead of the expected weather event.
The prediction is for the winds to hit about 29 km/h today with a Strong Wind Warning, reaching around 46 km/h later tomorrow with a Gale Wind Warning.
