The Illawarra still has a severe weather warning current, for damaging winds and heavy rainfall.
The rain over the past day has created a few flooding hassles for drivers this morning.
There’s flooding on Windang Road at Primbee, and at Albion Park, around the Illawarra Highway, between Tongarra Road and the Princes Motorway.
Drivers should take pre-cautions and follow any diversion signage in place.
More than 2,320 incidents have been recorded by the NSW SES, since the start of the weather event, as the coastal low shifted southwards from Newcastle towards Sydney, the Illawarra and South Coast.
Since 9am Tuesday, Bellambi has 92mm, Albion Park 100mm, and Kiama 132mm of rain…
Bellambi had gusts up to 102 km/h this morning, Albion Park 82 km/h, and Kiama 100 km/h just before 6am.
