The New South Wales Bushfire Season is officially underway, with the Rural Fire Service warning locals to start prepping now, while the weather is still cool.
Most brigades in our region will host GET READY weekend events over this Saturday and Sunday.
In the Illawarra Sutherland region, there are at least 20-meets taking place this weekend, crews encouraging everyone in the area to meet their local brigade at one of the events.
