Strong winds hit the Illawarra once again over the past 24 hours.
The Bureau of Meteorology said we had gusts of 91 km/h early this morning at Albion Park, 87 km/h at Bellambi, while Kiama saw gusts of up to 85 km/h.
The official prediction is that the winds will ease today, the Illawarra still has a ‘strong wind warning’ current.
