Wollongong City Council is moving forward with plans, to improve and refurbish Helensburgh Pool over the next few months.
Lord Mayor of Wollongong Councillor Tania Brown, said the project will extend the life of the existing pool by another 30 years and more.
Councillor Brown added that while the budget doesn’t allow for a new pool, Council was able to make number of upgrades and improvements, in line with community feedback gathered about the facility.
