Four people aged from 14 to 23 have been charged by Police, after an assault in Fairy Meadow last week.
Wollongong Police advised that at about 10pm on Thursday 22 February, 2024, two men were sitting on a park bench at a Surf Club on Elliotts Road, Fairy Meadow, when they were approached by three men and a woman, one man allegedly threatened the two men with a knife, before demanding alcohol, cigarettes and vapes.
An 18 year old man was allegedly punched and kicked in the head, he was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
