The NSW Government is running two ‘recovery assistance points’ in the Illawarra, following the deluge a week ago.
In Thirroul, the recovery assistance point is at the Thirroul Community Centre, 352/358 Lawrence Hargrave Drive – Friday 12 April, 2024, open 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 13 April, 2024, open 9am to 1pm.
While the Warrawong recovery assistance point is at the Warrawong Community Centre, 7-9 Greene Street – Friday 12 April, 2024, open 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 13 April, 2024, open 9am to 1pm.

The recovery assistance points are a ‘one stop shop’ for Council, Service NSW, Legal Aid, insurance companies, and the Reconstruction Authority.
