Latest data indicates that the Illawarra was the hardest hit region in NSW this winter, according to the NRMA.
Reports are that 14% of all NSW wild weather claims come from the region, with Woonona, Dapto, Figtree, Horsley, and Kiama topping the list.
In addition, residents of Illawarra and South Coast are ranked equal 8th as the ‘best prepared’ region in NSW.
