Illawarra road users be advised that Double Demerits have started across the state, for the Labour Day long weekend, with NSW Police promising to be out in force
The period runs from today until Monday night, with Police targeting drink and drug driving, speeding, helmet, and mobile phone offences.
At least 273 people have died on the roads this year, nearly 200 in regional areas
