The call has gone out for Wollongong to have a Night-Mayor.
Greens MP and night-time economy spokesperson Cate Faehrmann, joined Wollongong Mayoral candidate Jess Whittaker on Wednesday to launch the Greens plan.
The Greens said venues and local business owners in the region have long been weighed down by paperwork and regulations, leaving many venues delayed or unable to open at all, resulting in a struggling, empty night scene.
