Kiama Council is reporting demolition of the original Blue Haven Terralong nursing home has gone smoothly, and it has time-lapse footage to back the claim.
The nursing home, which was vacated in 2019, had become unsafe due to mould, vandalism, and structural damage.
Contractors spent several months dismantling the structures at Havilah Place – adjacent to Kiama Leisure Centre – and Council has put up time lapse images on its website, showing the work in progress and completed.
