Wollongong City Council is inviting residents to take part in a community satisfaction survey being conducted by an independent research company Taverner Research over the next fortnight.

Until Saturday the 13th of September, Taverner Research will call a random selection of residents on Council’s behalf. The survey will ask about people’s experiences with Council services and facilities, and measure how satisfied the community is with the work Council delivers.

Taverner Research will contact residents on both mobiles and landlines between 3.30pm and 8pm weekdays, and 10am and 4pm on Saturdays. Calls will display the caller identification 02 4209 3032.

To be eligible, residents must be aged 18 years or older, have lived in the Wollongong Local Government Area for at least six months, and not be a current councillor or Council employee.

Council is aiming for a representative sample of 600 people, covering a mix of ages and genders, to ensure the survey reflects the diversity of our community.

The survey takes about 15 minutes and includes questions about people’s experiences with Council services and facilities, their interactions with Council, and how they receive information about Council news and events.

Alongside the phone survey, an online survey will also be available on Council’s website. Results from the community satisfaction survey will be published in a report in late 2025.
