Charges have been laid against a man after a house fire in Unanderra in March 2022.
Police say just before 2am on Wednesday 2 March, 2022, emergency services were called to Hurt Parade, Unanderra, after reports of a house fire.
FRNSW put the fire out, four people inside the home got out, but the house suffered extensive damage to the roof.

Following investigations, about 11am Thursday 15 February 2024, detectives attached to Lake Illawarra Police attended a correctional facility at Silverwater.
A 34-year-old man was charged with damage property by fire/explosive with intent to injure and destroy/damage property with intent to endanger life.
