Four people have been charged, after investigations into three public place shootings, in the Illawarra and Sydney’s southwest this year.
Lake Illawarra Police were called to Kalang Avenue in Kanahooka, at around 8am on Thursday 9 April 2026, following reports of shots fired at a home earlier that day, there was also shootings reported in Punchbowl and Greenacre on Sunday 12 April 2026.
Police arrested four males ranging in age from from 16 to 19 years, all will front court later today.
