A call by Wollongong City Council, on the regarding a Tourism Accommodation Strategy, has been welcomed by Business Illawarra.
Business Illawarra said Wollongong experiences demand for tourism it’s accommodation that far outstrips supply in peak times, highlighted during the UCI World Road Championships.
An ‘industry roundtable’ is being called for, and is seen as a positive step in bringing more hotels to the city.
