About 7.30am today (Tuesday 21 May 2024), police were called to a beach at the end of Beach Road, Stanwell Park, following reports a man’s body had been found.
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District responded and established a crime scene.
The man – believed to be in his 30s – is yet to be formally identified.
Investigations into the circumstances are continuing.
