Bird Flu detected at Windang in a seabird

Confirmation that a sick Tern found near Windang, has tested positive for the highly contagious H5 strain of avian influenza, or bird flu.

Wollongong City Council advises that if you see sick or dead birds or other animals, don’t touch them and avoid contact.
