A major contract for the AUKUS project, has been awarded to Unanderra’s Bisalloy Steel.
Pat Conroy, Defence Industry Minister, says the steelmaker will supply $2 million worth of submarine-grade steel, as part of the Aussie bound US Virginia-class boats.
The announcement comes on the heels, of billions being allocated to naval infrastructure in South Australia.
