10 emergency responses for Illawarra Marine Rescue NSW

Marine Rescue NSW crews have had a busy July, despite the winter weather and cooler temps.

For the state, 237 search and rescue missions, including 82 emergency responses, while for the Illawarra region there been plenty of missions.

Illawarra region crews were involved in 21 search and rescue missions, including 10 emergency responses, with 49 people safely returned to shore, the most called on unit was Port Kembla with seven assignments.
